New Delhi/Bengaluru: Skylark Drones, a pioneer in India’s drone technology ecosystem, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sensonic, a global leader in railway infrastructure monitoring, to integrate autonomous drone systems with distributed fiber optic sensing technology.
This collaboration aims to transform railway safety, security, and operational resilience through intelligent, data-driven solutions.
The agreement, signed on 15th October at IREE 2025, establishes a partnership to address key challenges in railway infrastructure – including security threats, natural hazards, inspections, and maintenance operations.

The fusion of Skylark Drones’ Bharat Series autonomous systems with Sensonic’s distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) technology will enable continuous, real-time monitoring of rail corridors.
